The Camino Krk Experience

Camino Krk is a circular route of more than 150 kilometers around the island. It begins in the center of the island – the town of Krk (Krk Cathedral), and ends, symbolically, at the parish church of St. James the Apostle in the village of Kornić.

The Krk route is divided into 7 daily stages, necessary for a true experience of the historical, cultural and religious heritage of the island woven into a unique natural and urban environment.

Krk - Brzac

22.7 km

The Camino Krk route starts from the town of Krk, the center of the island. The first day includes a 23-kilometer walk through surrounding villages, from Vrh via Šotovent, Skrbčići and Pinezići all the way to the village of Brzac.

Brzac - Malinska

22.9 km

The second day of pilgrimage includes a 22.9-kilometer walk from the village of Brzac to Glavotok, still in the Šotovent area, before heading towards Dubašnica. Passing through several authentic island places, this part of the route ends in Malinska, the center of the Municipality of Malinska-Dubašnica.

Malinska - Omišalj

On the third day, the pilgrimage continues with a 19-kilometer route from the heart of Malinska to the northern part of the island, west of Kijac and through Njivice to Omišalj as the final destination.

Čižići - Vrbnik

On the 21.6-kilometer route, the pilgrimage continues from Čižići through Soline and the forested inland area to the village of Dobrinj and Sv. Vid Dobrinjski. It ends in Vrbnik, which is reached from Risika.

Vrbnik - Baška

The sixth day continues with a walk through Vrbnik Field on a 23.3-kilometer section from Vrbnik to Baška. The field is widely known as a place where noble vines have been grown for more than a hundred years.

Baška - Kornić

On the seventh day, the 21.4-kilometer section will lead walkers from Baška through Jurandvor, Batomalj and Punt to the final destination - Kornić. Following the sculptures along the Baška Glagolitic Path, you reach Jurandvor, one of the most famous places on the island.
